This enchanted woods is full of familiar—and not so familiar—fairytale characters. A Baker and his wife, who wish to have a child. Cinderella, who wishes to attend the King's Festival. And Jack, who wishes his cow would give milk. They are met by princes, red-hooded children, witches, and more. Everyone's wish is granted, but the consequences of their actions return to haunt them later with disastrous results.

Into the Woods, with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, was originally directed by James Lapine. The 2023 Broadway Revival is currently touring limited cities.
