We’re thrilled for the return of our Annual Arts Gala!
“The Golden Age of Hollywood” Arts Gala is poised to be an affair to remember. The evening will begin with the opening of the silent auction, cash bar, and hors d’oeuvres. Wendel Werner, Knoxville-based jazz musician, will set the mood during cocktail hour as guests peruse auction items donated by area artists, individuals, and businesses. Before the buffet dinner catered by Ambiance, you can participate in the oral auction featuring special items like original artwork and one-of-a-kind experiences. Following dinner, accomplished vocalist Gregg Robbins will lead his band get you to the dance floor.
In keeping with the event theme of “The Golden Age of Hollywood,” you can dress in your finest attire inspired by red carpet fashion of the 1930s through the 1960s, but it’s not required. You do have to reserve your tickets in advance, so click the link above to pay and reserve your spot! You can also reserve tables so you can sit with all your friends. Seating is limited so you’ll need to reserve seats early before the gala sells out. Please note: The Arts Gala is for attendees twenty-one and older. Please review the important information below to make sure your reservation goes smoothly.
YOUR ticket and auction purchases support school and community arts education in our area. AACA has been a vital presence in McMinn County since 1979, presenting thousands of performances, exhibitions, artist residencies, art classes and more by international, regional, and local artists of all types and genres. It has created and sustained many arts groups throughout the years, including the Athens Community Theatre, the Athens Area Children’s Choir, and the Unity Gospel Choir, and the organization has contributed technical assistance to many more groups and individuals.
Want to help out even more? Anyone can donate products or services to the auction or help the event in any way. Just call The Arts Center at 423-745-8781 to find out how.
Reservations and advanced payment is required for this event for patrons twenty one and older. Seating is at tables and is pre-assigned per transaction. Please review the details below and call The Arts Center if you'd like help deciding which option is right for you and your party.
Important Information
How do reservations work?
Seating is assigned at tables. You can purchase an entire table or seat(s) to be assigned (by staff) to a table.
If you purchase a reserved table, you will have a reserved table for the number of guests you purchase. If you are attending with friends, this is the best way to ensure you are seated together. Please note, once your transaction is complete, staff will contact you for a list of names in your party so we can complete your reservation and assign bid numbers for the auctions.
If you purchase reserved seat(s), you will be assigned a reservation according to the number of seats you purchase in a single transaction. For example, if you purchase two tickets, you will have two seats reserved at a table. Other guests will be seated with you, according to staff discretion. Staff may contact you to confirm the names of guest included in your party to complete your reservation and assign bids numbers for the auctions.
