Description

Explore and develop your painting expertise during this 5-week watercolor class for intermediate and advanced painters! Emphasis will be placed on compositional elements and developing unity in a painting. Students will paint during class time and should be prepared with supplies weekly. And, we’ll have fun! This class was originally led by Sandy Brown, but due to retirement, she has handed the torch to Chris Ingram.

Materials are not provided. Students should bring their own paints, watercolor paper, and other needed materials.

About the Instructor

Chris Ingram earned a B.F.A. in Studio Art. This degree, however, was only the beginning as he has spent a lifetime making, studying and teaching art and art history. He lived in Europe as a child and had the opportunity to see many of the great works of Western Art in person, a truly formative experience. Chris believes that art is for everyone and that art should be of much greater importance in our K-12 classrooms.
