Pottery Throwing

About the Class

Students will learn to wedge, center, and throw small vessels on the wheel as well as hand building techniques. All pieces will be fired and glazed.

About the Instructor

Andy Phipps received a BFA in Ceramics and Sculpture from Northern Arizona University. He has taught art courses at Bucks County Community College in Pennsylvania. He works as an artist and craftsman creating sculptural and functional pieces from custom woodworking to stained glass, metal working, ceramics, and any combination of these.
