Description
In this 6‐week class, students will learn the basic techniques of drawing by observation. It’s important to “learn the rules before you start breaking them,” so students will learn to draw what they see. Each session will involve learning to manipulate the materials while learning to render objects with accuracy.

About the Instructor
Chris Ingram earned a B.F.A. in Studio Art. This degree, however, was only the beginning as he has spent a lifetime making, studying and teaching art and art history. He lived in Europe as a child and had the opportunity to see many of the great works of Western Art in person, a truly formative experience. Chris believes that art is for everyone and that art should be of much greater importance in our K-12 classrooms.
