About the Class

If you can write your name you can learn to draw! The secret is actually learning how to SEE! This class will teach you just that - no prior experience needed!

About the Instructor

Nancy Kyzer studied drawing and painting at the University of Georgia before teaching high school art in Atlanta. She is a well-rounded artist with an impressive resume. She’s painted sets for an elite Atlanta impressario, run a successful portrait and sculpted cakes business, worked as the caricature artist on the Cunard cruise line, and was the national gingerbread champion and finalist in a Food Network competition. You may remember her miniature Waffle House in AACA's 2019 Open Exhibit. That piece is now displayed at Waffle House corporate headquarters in Atlanta. Currently, Nancy teaches classes in mixed media, color theory, drawing, painting, and textile work at The Arts Center.
