Jim Brooks has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Appalachian Folk Arts and Music (Folk Recreation) from Berea College and40 years’ experience in Storytelling, Appalachian Folk Dance, Music History, Clogging, Ballad Singing, and performs a large variety of Folk Instruments. By introducing Folk Music and other Folk Arts to the youth and others, he encourages everyone to learn and appreciate the Appalachian Folk Culture.
