SHAPES UP

One of the most significant returns on your investment in The Arts Center is something no-one will see in any financial records - it’s the realization that your donation directly supports shaping lives and careers.

The financial value of Arts Partnership, of course, is also incredibly significant. Annual donations have historically made up from ten to twenty percent of AACA’s annual budget.

We rely on your tax-deductible contributions to cover administrative and operational expenses so we can keep tuition and ticket costs low.

"At The Arts Center, I discovered love and selflessness are necessary to create art and build community. That love and selflessness has helped me grow artistically and personally and inspires me to pursue art as a career."

- Natalie Leonesio

The ticket price to attend plays and concerts goes toward the cost to produce that event. Since we are committed to keeping costs low for our patrons, ticket prices alone don’t cover the cost to produce an event. (That’s why we are so grateful for our  corporate sponsors— the critical funders for our programming expenses!) Similarly, the money we collect for classes and camps goes back to the instructors and toward materials.

The Arts Center also hosts many free events – such as arts activities during community festivals, visual arts exhibits, and table reads – that, while they are free to the public, they are not without expenses for AACA.

Sponsorship and grant funding allow us to fund programs at a cost-effective rate and we use Arts Partnership contributions to underwrite the other, less glamorous expenses required to keep The Arts Center open.

Utilities and office supplies, staff wages, marketing and advertising, technology and equipment, and program materials are some of the things that Arts Partnership helps fund.

Arts Partners make it possible for us to keep event costs as low as possible and offer free programs for our community.
